Elio Schiavon (1925–2004), a recognized Italian ceramic artist from Padova, studied at Scuola d’Arte Ceramica di Nove and worked at Zortea and Venice Academy. His works span from the 1950s–1970s and include both purely sculptural and functional ceramic pieces
